Important instructions for applicants seeking admission

  • ONLY GIRLS will be admitted to this college.
  • The student should herself be present at the time of admission.
  • Admission process will be according to University Regulations.
  • It is essential for the students to be present along with all original documents. Kindly do not send Parents/Guardians. Each student will get full support and guidance from the college. Guardians are requested not to collect unnecessarily on the campus.
  • Application form should be filled. The students should submit complete information as required in the application form in a neat and legible manner along with all requisite enclosures; else their application forms will be considered invalid.
  • Registration card and application form submitted receipt should also be filled in completely. Students should attach their latest photos.
  • At the time of submitting the admission form, photocopies of receipts, fee vouchers and scholarship application form must be attached. If any of the above documents are lost, the applicant(s)’ admission will be cancelled.
  • After form submission, students MUST keep two attested photo copies each of – (a) application form (b) application form submission receipt (c) fees voucher and other documents safely.
  • If there are more students than the norms in any particular subject, then the final subject combination shall be allotted according to the recommendations of the Admissions Committee.
  • The right to give or refuse admission to any student rests entirely with the Principal.
  • Students must fill up point 1-4 in all four copies of the fees voucher. They should attach their photographs on the student’s copy and college copy of the fee voucher.
  • Please read scholarship instructions carefully.
  • Permission will not be granted for Post Graduation Studies in two subjects.
  • Students seeking admission to B.A. I /B.Sc. I classes should have secured 40% and 45% marks respectively in class XII examination.
  • For admission to B. A. /B.Sc. II and B.A. /B. Sc III, the student should have cleared the previous year’s examination. A student who has not cleared the previous examination will submit her University form online as Ex-Student.
  • Failed students who have applied for Back Paper can take Provisional admission. If they fail to clear their back paper, their admission will be considered invalid. In that case, they will then submit their University form Online as Ex-students of the previous class.
  • Fees submitted for provisional admission will not be refundable.
  • Private students will not be allowed admission in any class.
  • Students from other colleges will not be allowed admission in B.A./B.Sc. II, B.A./B.Sc III and M.A. II Classes.

Important Instruction regarding reserved category

  • Students who wish to avail the benefit of Reservation must mention their reserved category and caste in their application forms. They should also attach their caste certificate or they will be considered as General Category in the merit list.
  • Applicants in the reserved category will have to submit Photocopies of latest computerized caste certificate attested by a competent official. Application forms without caste certificate will not be accepted.
  • Applicants in the reserved category will have to present their original caste certificate at the Time of admission. Application form will be considered invalid, otherwise.
  • If on examination by the District Administration caste certificate is found to be fake, admission will automatically be cancelled and fees will not be refunded. Necessary action will be taken against the applicant.
  • Attestation of caste certificate should be done by Tehsildar/ District Magistrate Office and Internet. Legal action will be taken against fake certificates.

Admission Procedure

  • Only those students who have obtained minimum marks directed by administration/ University will be considered for admission.
  • According to University administration rules, students who come under the categories mentioned below will not be eligible for administration, if a student.
    • has been expelled from any college.
    • has been punished by the court for any case.
    • has been caught using any unfair means.
    • has been debarred from appearing in any University Examination.
    • has been registered by the police for some crime or a case is pending against her in the court.
  • Apart from the information given herein other important information will be provided by the convenor of the admission committee.
  • Enclosure mentioned below must be attached with
    • duly filled application form.
    • Attested copies of previous mark sheets.
    • Photocopy of TC and migration certificate to be attached with the application form. Original copies of these documents must be submitted at the time of admission. Failing to do so admission will not be allowed.
    • A private candidate must submit a certificate from the examination centre. Otherwise the student can submit the original TC of the class in which she last studied, as a regular student.
    • Sc/ST/OBC students must attach attested photocopies of their caste certificates. The original caste certificates must be provide at the time of admission.
    • Six project size photographer to be attached as follows.
      • One on the application form.
      • One each an fees voucher (student’s copy and college copy)
      • After admission, one an identity card, on admission slip, or Library Card.
  • At the time of admission the student should be present along with all the original documents.
  • Application form approved for admission will be forwarded by the convenor to the Principal.
  • Admission will be granted on the basis of merit as directed by the University.
  • Fee Draft should be made in favour of Principal S.N. Sen B.V.P.G. College. Student should write her name, father’s name, address and mobile number at the back of the draft. A photocopy of the demand draft (Both sides) should be attached along with the draft. A photocopy of the draft should also be retained by the student.
  • Subject/Faculty charge will not be allowed after admission chosen subjects will be sent online for University examinations.
  • Admission to B.A. II, B.A.III and M.A. II will only be granted to those students who have cleared the previous examination from this college.
  • Admission will be cancelled if any fact is not disclosed or wrong information is given in the form.

NOTE (very Important):

  • Students who have passed class XII from C.B.S.E or I.S.C. Boards must enclose their Migration Certificate along with the application form.
  • University examination four attached with the admission form must be dully filled and submitted to the admission committee.

After Admission

  • After depositing the admission fees, cash/draft the student will receive the receipt of the same.
  • The student will receive the admission number, identity card and Library card after depositing the college copy of the fees receipt and green slip/ admission slip with the concerned clerk.
  • Only admission number will be mentioned on the identity card and admission slip; the rest should be filled up by the student.
  • Subject teachers will sign the admission slip and allot sections to the student.
  • The identity card will be signed by the Chief Proctor after the admission slip has been signed by all the teachers. Without the sign of the Proctor their identity card will be invalid.

NOTE (very Important):

  • Students should keep at least two photo copies of their identity card, admission slip and fee voucher.
  • Students should keep their admission slip and fees voucher alongwith with their identity card.
  • Students must keep all their documents safely. If the identity card is lost, duplicate identity card shall only be issued on payment of Rs. 100.00

Library Card

Students can have their library cards issued from the library after obtaining their admission slip and identity card duly signed by the Proctor. Specified number of books will be issued on the library card for a stipulated period. Failure to return books in the stipulated time will entail payment of late fee of Rs. 2.00 per day.
